Lesson 2: Components of Cannabis – Dive into the components found in cannabis, including THC, CBD, and terpenes, and their therapeutic effects. Explore strains and their potential benefits for various health conditions. Examine the entourage effect and the interplay between CBD and THC.

Lesson 3: Cannabis Products – Learn about items available in dispensaries, diverse consumption methods, product variations, factors affecting quality, CBD:THC ratios, potency labeling, cannabinoids, types of concentrates, edible ingredients, cannabis oils, the physiological effects of edibles, and the advantages of topical products for addressing skin issues, pain, and inflammation.

Lesson 3: Cannabis Cultivation Businesses – This lesson assists you in navigating the intricacies of establishing a marijuana cultivation business. It offers guidance on setting up a successful cannabis cultivation endeavor while steering clear of common pitfalls. Topics encompass planning, financing, strain selection, and compliance with regulations.

Lesson 4: Cannabis Processing Businesses – Gain insights into the vital decisions required to run a prosperous cannabis manufacturing enterprise. Module 4: Intro to Cannabis Laws/Regulations and Business

Learning Objectives: By the end of the Cannabis9 1 Laws/Regulations and Business class, you’ll be able to provide an overview of the past and current conditions of both US federal cannabis policies and Canadian federal cannabis policies. You’ll be equipped to describe the allowed quantities of cannabis for personal possession and cultivation in a chosen US state. Additionally, you will be skilled in detailing the legal limits for cannabis possession and cultivation in a particular Canadian province or territory, and you’ll have insight into the regulations governing cannabis in a country outside North America.

Lesson 1: Cannabis Laws in the United States – In this lesson, you’ll dive into the laws surrounding cannabis in the US. You’ll explore the historical background of these laws, federal and state regulations, significant court cases, and the consequences of breaking these laws. This lesson also covers the complexities of cannabis possession, distribution, manufacturing, cultivation, and the availability of CBD in states where it remains illegal, as well as the regulations governing medical and recreational cannabis programs.

Lesson 2: Cannabis Laws in Canada – This lesson provides an overview of how cannabis laws have developed in Canada, from the era of prohibition to the current state of legalization for medical and recreational use. You’ll gain insights into Canada’s federal program for medical cannabis, federal regulations concerning possession, public use, distribution, and cultivation, and the variations in cannabis laws among different provinces and territories.10

Lesson 3: Cannabis Laws in Other Countries – In this lesson, you’ll broaden your understanding of cannabis regulations across the globe, essential for a global perspective of the cannabis industry. You’ll explore the legal frameworks of over 60 countries, including Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and many more. The focus is on the rules governing possession, cultivation, and distribution.
